Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using any service operated by TeamTBM — including the website at teamtbm.org, any TeamTBM Discord bot, or any TeamTBM Roblox game — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. Your continued use of a service following any update to these terms will be taken as acceptance of the revised version.

2. Our services

TeamTBM is an independent games development and creative technology group based in the United Kingdom. We operate the following services, to which these terms apply:

• teamtbm.org — our primary website, including informational pages, user accounts, account dashboards and developer tools.
• TeamTBM Discord bots — including TBM X, PEC Bot and other bots operated by TeamTBM.
• TeamTBM Roblox games — including the TBM Universe titles (MovieWorld, TM Studios, RTP Studios, Volcano Bay) and standalone games such as Alterwind.

3. Accounts

Some features of the TeamTBM website require you to create an account. When creating and using an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information at registration and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secure and not share access to your account with others.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used fraudulently, or are involved in activity that is harmful to other users or to TeamTBM.

You can manage aspects of your account, including reviewing and removing login history, through your account dashboard.

4. Acceptable use

When using any TeamTBM service, you must not:

• Use the service in any way that is unlawful, harmful or disruptive to other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or another user’s account.
• Upload, transmit or distribute content that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise objectionable.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or abuse our services in a way that causes excessive load or disruption.
• Impersonate TeamTBM, a TeamTBM team member, or any other person or organisation.
• Use our services to distribute malware, spam or any other malicious content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code from our services.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend or remove access to any user who breaches these rules, without prior notice where the breach is serious.

5. Discord bots

TeamTBM Discord bots are provided as tools for server administrators and moderators. By adding a TeamTBM bot to a Discord server, the server administrator agrees that:

• They have the authority to add the bot to the server on behalf of their community.
• The bot will be used in accordance with these terms and Discord’s own Terms of Service.
• They will not attempt to abuse, manipulate or exploit the bot’s functionality.

Data collected by TeamTBM bots is described in our Privacy Policy. TeamTBM reserves the right to remove a bot from a server or restrict its functionality if it is being used in a way that violates these terms.

6. Roblox games

TeamTBM Roblox games are subject to both these terms and Roblox’s Terms of Service. By playing a TeamTBM game, you acknowledge that:

• In-game data (such as progress and settings) is stored in TeamTBM’s own systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You will not attempt to exploit, cheat or interfere with the game or the data of other players.
• In-game content, assets and systems are the property of TeamTBM and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the TeamTBM website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, game assets and code, is the intellectual property of TeamTBM or its respective creators and is protected accordingly.

You may not reproduce, copy, redistribute or commercially exploit any TeamTBM content without prior written permission, except where expressly permitted (for example, sharing a link to a page).

User-generated content, where applicable, remains the property of the user who created it. By submitting content to a TeamTBM service, you grant TeamTBM a non-exclusive licence to use, display and store that content as required for the service to function.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep our services running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues or circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of our services at any time. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of significant changes or outages, but this is not always possible.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamTBM excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, service interruptions, and reliance on information provided through our services.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Our services are provided in good faith and without warranty as to their completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Information on the website may not always be fully up to date.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised whenever changes are made.

Continued use of our services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the relevant service.
